31 Days Of Grace: Social Distancing with Purple Haze and YourHost.io

With the onset of the worldwide Corona Virus Pandemic, we here in Kenya were instructed to implement Social Distancing to avert the rapid spread of Covid 19 Virus. Initially, we started with a 14-day self-distancing directive, (with those newly arriving in the country going into self-quarantine for 14 days.

That said, my friends at Purple Haze Apartments and YourHost.io agreed to host me for a month of my self-distancing. Well folks, here is how 31 Days Of Grace - Self Distancing in Africa. Purple Haze Apartments is a brand new complex which has won awards on their Eco-Friendly setup. YourHost is a short term apartment rental in Kenya.

The business center has fast internet connectivity, a television for presentations, and of course seating space for at least twenty guests. It’s location is also ideal for those looking for privacy.

Today I got to explore the the hidden caves behind and below the apartments. They are located in the same space as the children’s background. The cool thing about the caves is that you can actually hide in there and read a book all afternoon

The first courtyard I visited was also the fifth one, the Fire Courtyard. As the name suggests, fire is the element, while smell is the sense.

Shower heads with the right amount of pressure is rare find in Nairobi! If you have a thing for high pressure water from wide shower heads, then you are missing out on an epic shower experience!

It is no secret that cooking is not one of my strengths! That said, I had to check out the kitchen at some point. Oh, and that has got to be the most effective microwave I have used in my life..
